I looked into this for Manitoba. There's a weekend course offered by Manitoba Public Insurance for about $300 and they let you use their bikes. I'll hit that up this spring.
They have the same course in Lethbridge at the college for 240-280. If you take the course at the college you take the course in the parking lot as opposed to taking it on the streets of Lethbridge. I would rather run over a cone than an old lady.
